Privacy Policy

Oqen Market is a set of smart contracts and a website that talks to them. The short version of this policy is that the protocol itself collects nothing about you, because it has no sign up and no way to know who you are.

1. What we do not collect

We do not ask for a name, an email address, a phone number, a date of birth, or a document. There is no sign up and no login, so there is no profile to store, sell, or lose.

2. What the blockchain records

Every position you take is a transaction on a public blockchain. That transaction, your wallet address, and the amounts involved are recorded permanently by that network and are readable by anyone. This is a property of public blockchains, not something we do to you, and it is not something we can undo, edit, or erase on request.

Opening an Oqen trading account creates an object on Sui that records your wallet address as its owner. It is as public as any other transaction, and it holds no personal information.

We do not link wallet addresses to real-world identities, and we do not try to.

3. What the website collects

When you load this site or the application, our servers may process:

Your IP address and a user agent string, in ordinary web server logs.
The wallet address you connect, for the sole purpose of showing you your own positions.
Aggregate, non-identifying counts of page loads and errors, so we can keep the site working.

Server logs are kept only as long as they are useful for security and debugging, and are then discarded. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell data to anyone.

4. Cookies

The marketing site sets no cookies. The application may use local storage in your browser to remember interface preferences such as your last selected market. That data never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser.

5. Third parties

Loading the site may involve third parties whose own policies apply: your wallet provider, the RPC endpoint your wallet uses to reach the blockchain, our font and hosting providers, and the price oracle the protocol reads. We do not control what those parties log.

6. Your choices

You can use the protocol without using this website at all, by calling the contracts directly. Nothing in this policy limits that. If you have a question about data we hold, contact us and we will answer.

7. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated version.
